Pleasure Point Night Fighters
Harry Conti and Jim Phillips reformed the Pleasure Point Night Fighters (est. 1919) in 1981.
Conti and Phillips's surf club the PPSA (Pleasure Point Surfing Association) focused on public service with Pack Your Trash. You can't separate PPNF and Pack Your Trash. Pack Your Trash Was born of PPNF.
PPNF and Pack Your Trash Gear.
Harry Conti reformed PPNF in the 80's with Jimmy Phillips and started Pack Your Trash because he cared about our coasts and surf spots plagued with trash!
Jim Phillips is a graphic artist who is best known for his iconic Santa Cruz surf and skateboard art. Born in San Jose, Ca., he's lived most of his life in Santa Cruz, Ca.
"It’s called selective recall." Tom McClaren, an ex patriot from Santa Cruz with Hawaiian roots, moved back to Santa Cruz from Oregon in the early 80s and helped Conti resurrect the Night Fighters "on Tom's Terms"; reinventing Pack Your Trash with new cans and a dump truck along with starting the "PPNF Voice" magazine.
Tom Likes to fish and paddle board from his boat and he lives in Santa Cruz. "There’s a lot of stuff in the fine print!"
